Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to fast before my test?

It depends on the test. Sugar and lipid-related tests usually need 8–12 hours of fasting (water is fine), while tests like CBC, LFT, and thyroid profile normally don't require it. See our Sample Requirements page for a full breakdown, or ask our staff when you book your test.

How long until my results are ready?

Most routine blood tests (CBC, sugar, LFT, RFT, etc.) are reported the same day. Specialised, hormone, or send-out tests can take longer — your receipt shows the expected date. Once your report is verified, you can download it any time through our online Report Portal.

How do I access my report online?

Go to our Report Portal and enter the Lab No./MR No. and PIN printed on your receipt. If you were given a direct report link or QR code, scanning or opening it takes you straight to your report without needing to type anything.

Can I collect my report on someone else's behalf?

Yes. Since online access only needs the Lab No./MR No. and PIN from the receipt, anyone holding that receipt (a family member, for example) can retrieve the report on the patient's behalf. For a printed copy in person, please bring the receipt or the patient's CNIC.

Do you offer home sample collection?

Yes, home collection is available in most areas for routine blood tests. Call us on 067-3364453 to arrange a visit, and our phlebotomist will confirm the timing and any test-specific preparation (such as fasting) beforehand.

What should I bring with me on the day of my test?

Your doctor's original prescription or test request, a valid CNIC (or B-Form for children), and any relevant previous reports. If you're fasting for a test, please confirm you've followed the required fasting window before you arrive.

Is my test result kept confidential and secure online?

Yes. Reports are only accessible with the Lab No./MR No. and PIN unique to that report, the connection is encrypted, and every access attempt is logged for security. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is protected.

What are your lab timings, and do I need an appointment?

We are Open 24 Hours and accept walk-ins for routine tests — no appointment is necessary. For home collection, radiology exams, or large panels, calling ahead on 067-3364453 helps us prepare and reduces your waiting time.
